Hello, I’m Évi Anlauf-Stokkink. I’ve studied and “lived” business. Now I’m in a fase of expressing myself through art.
I find my inspiration in everyday life, in small things. Music is almost always involved. I put my ideas on a list so that when I have time I can choose which one I want to work on. The most exciting topics are for me at the moment:

BIO
I was born in Hungary and I moved to The Netherlands at the age of 33. After studying at the University of Economics, I worked for 15 years in the colorful and vibrant advertising industry, first in Budapest and Prague, later in Amsterdam and Utrecht. I have created all types of campaigns, from TV spots to direct mails, print ads, websites, events... everything. But because I have experienced all of this from the business side as a project manager, I felt the need to get creative myself.
I have followed various courses. First photography and design at the Shaw Academy. Later drawing and painting lessons at Catheding, the Painting Club and Domestika, among others. At Iceno I tried out techniques such as mosaics and sculpting with Powertex.
At the Rietveld Academy I completed the Orientation Course in 2023.
My favorite technique at the moment is painting with acrylic on wood. But who knows, maybe something new will come on my way.
I am currently studying oil painting at Schilderles Amsterdam and I teach at Artelier Palet Gezelschap in Almere. I love seeing that the students can do much more than they thought and how they surrender to creating and self-expression. It is incredibly rewarding work!
